Reasons why a doctor might induce labor

It is extemely important that you do not try to induce labor without the approval of your licensed medical physician because doing so may cause extremely strong contractions that may be harmful to the baby's heart.

There are several reasons why your licensed medical doctor may choose to induce labor on a pregnant women. The most common reasons are practical reasons to ensure the health of the newborn baby.
